The Legacy for Good Foundation partnered with Legacy Credit Union for the 3rd annual Books for Babies Drive. Members and employees donated board books to support the NICU at UAB’s Women and Infants Center. UAB recently installed a book vending machine. Parents can earn coins by participating in their child’s care to redeem books. These books will go to stock the vending machine. We were thrilled to hit our goal of 175 books!

The Legacy for Good Foundation partnered with Legacy Community Federal Credit Union for the 11th Annual Legacy for Children’s Casual for a Cause Day. Legacy Credit Union employees were given the opportunity to purchase a t-shirt and go casual on June 28th. Legacy members also purchased t-shirts that were sold at Legacy branches. We were excited to donate $4,000 to support Children’s of Alabama.

Better Basics was selected as the beneficiary of the 3rd Annual Golf for Good Tournament. Thank you to all the individuals and companies that came out to support this cause. The Foundation was pleased to donate $3,500 to Better Basics to help them fulfill their mission of eradicating illiteracy among children in Central Alabama.

The Legacy for Good Foundation partnered with Legacy CFCU for a supply drive benefiting Red Mountain Grace. A variety of household supplies were collected from Legacy Credit Union members and employees. Red Mountain Grace is a local non-profit that focuses on providing housing to out-of-town patients and caregivers during extended medical stays in Birmingham. We were thrilled to support them in their wonderful mission!
