Supporting Disaster Relief

The City of Fultondale experienced significant damage from an EF-3 tornado on January 25, 2021. The Legacy for Good Foundation donated $500 to the city’s disaster relief program.

Supporting Children’s of Alabama

In June, the Legacy for Good Foundation partnered with Legacy credit union to raise funds for Children’s of Alabama. Legacy branches sold t-shirts to members, while Legacy employees participated in a Casual Day to raise funds. $2,000 was raised during the Legacy for Children’s initiative and donated to Children’s of Alabama.

Supporting Families and Children in Need

The Legacy for Good Foundation partnered with Legacy Community Federal Credit Union for the annual toy drive. This year all toys collected were donated to The Circle of Love. The Circle of Love supplies toys to over seven shelters that support families and children in need. The Foundation also raised funds for the Christmas Blessings program. This year the funds were used to create forty holiday food boxes for families in need. The food boxes were donated to Waterstone Church in Warrior.
